I've had an amazing time discovering new web destinations lately! Have fun with some of my recent online favorites.

• Love it: inside the head of a knitter, you might find an anatomically correct knitted brain! This took almost a year to create ... Details reported on Gizmodiva.

• My favorite YouTube video of all time - for the time being at least - Extreme Sheepherding, complete with LEDs. 

•  Enkoder makes the world safer for email! Man, am I glad I found Enkoder, published by software developer Dan Benjamin. Using his free Java script, you can post your own dang email address on your own dang website without being swamped by spam. Easy for your visitors to use, baffling to the spam-bots. I've just finished adding it to all my web pages, check it out. You rock, Dan!

•  Paperbackswap.com - my longtime fave. I've saved over $1,000 by getting rid of books I've read -- paperback, hardback, whatever -- and exchanging them for books I haven't. More than 3 million books listed for swapping! (If you tell them I referred you, I'll get a free credit. My username over there is MaggieBelize.)

•  We've formed an East Mountain "stitch 'n bitch" group for needleworkers of all kinds - knitters, crocheters, cross-stitchers - called Sandia Stitch 'n Time. Click for details! If you live in the East Sandia Mountain communities of New Mexico, please stop by ... our next meeting is Saturday, June 13 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.

•  News Flash: My Happy Hands hand cremes for knitters have been selected by the Wee Tiny Sock Club for inclusion in their June package! I'm so pleased! Meg chose my Tea & Roses fragrance for her June bridal theme, saying "every bride needs a bouquet, right?"

•  I'm looking forward to: Sock Summit 2009, Portland, OR, August 6-9. Brought to you by Tina Newton, Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, and Cat Bordhi ... and an all-star teacher list. I'll have a market booth, well-stocked with all my kNotes for kNitters and Happy Hands goodies!
